One Way Games

The short version

We do not collect anything about you.

Our games run entirely on your device. They do not ask for permission to use your location, your camera, your microphone, your contacts, or your files. They do not send information about you anywhere, because they do not connect to us at all.

There is no account to make, no email to give us, and no profile of you anywhere on our side. If you delete the game, nothing about you is left behind with us, because nothing about you ever reached us.

We are the data controller for the purposes of the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation, in the sense that we decide how any personal data would be handled. As set out below, we do not currently handle any.

What we collect

Nothing.

To be concrete, our games do not collect or receive:

The app requests no device permissions. You can confirm this yourself: on Android the app's permission list is empty.

Information your game saves on your own device

Your progress, settings, and save files are written to storage on your device and stay there. We cannot see them, receive them, or recover them. Deleting the app deletes them.

What the app stores or shares

The app does not connect to the internet, so no data leaves your device by way of the app.

Advertising

We show no advertising in our games. We do not work with advertising networks, and there is no advertising identifier in use.

Analytics and third-party code

We do not use analytics services, crash reporting services, or advertising software development kits. No third-party code in our games collects information about you.

Children

Our games do not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because nothing is collected, there is nothing that would require verifiable parental consent under the United States Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, and no profiling or targeted advertising of any kind reaches minors.

The app store you bought or downloaded from

Google Play, the Apple App Store, and any other storefront you use are run by other companies, not by us. When you download or buy through them, they handle their own account, payment, and device information under their own privacy policies. That relationship is between you and them. We receive from them only anonymous, aggregated sales and installation totals, which do not identify individual people.

Your rights

Privacy law in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, California, and a number of other places gives you rights over personal data held about you. Those include the right to see it, correct it, delete it, take a copy of it elsewhere, object to its use, and, in California, to know whether it has been sold or shared and to opt out.

We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to show, correct, delete, or transfer. We have never sold or shared personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

You are still welcome to write to support@onewaygames.com with a request, and we will confirm in writing that we hold nothing.

If our games change

If a future game or update ever collects anything, we will update this page before that version ships, change the effective date at the top, and describe plainly what is collected, why, and how to opt out.
